The country development can only be sustainable if it results in real benefits and progress for humans. Therefore, respecting human rights, improving population’ health and developing education systems have particular importance within the framework of development assistance policies.
As part of the projects for the poverty reduction, Satec Développement International participates in the following fields:
Support to disadvantaged populations and social reintegration:

- Institutional strengthening of medical authorities
- National health policy, programme to fight against STDs and HIV/AIDS, IEC campaigns
- Strategic framework and multi-sector operational plans
- Health insurance
Education:
- Institutional modernisation and strengthening of education authorities (Ministry, Higher Education Institutes, etc.)
- Literacy programmes
