Today Egis Bdpa’s rural activities are organised around three main areas of intervention:
- Rural development:
regional studies; basic surveys; development project feasibility studies; preparation of master plans; project/operator implementation; technical assistance; setting up of a monitoring and evaluation systems or GIS and institutional support.
- Sector development:
improvement of production systems; sector studies and restructuring; assistance to the private sector; quality improvement; sector information system; evaluation of export opportunities; identification of emerging sectors, etc.
- Rural environment structuring:
assistance to farming and/or community organisations; development of services to producers (consultancy for the family businesses, financial services, research, etc.); assistance to professional organisations and contracting authorities.
